Port
aux Choix is promontory that juts out into the Gulf of St. Lawrence from the
west cost of Newfoundland. Its geographic prominence made it a logical choice
for habitation by the Maritime Archaic Indians, 3700 years ago. It is also the
right spot for a lighthouse. These are two of the outbuildings of the lighthouse,
early October morning.
